To me, Cafe Europa is less of a destination than a fallback: It's the place to go for a bite after midnight (that isn't McDonald's), and the place we always seem to end up at when we can think of nothing else.
Decent size, pleasant atmosphere, good tunafish Ciabatta.

Tiny British takeaway place that sells sandwiches, wraps, muffins, soup etc.
A welcome addition to the limited takeaway choices in Vienna, but unfortunately quite expensive -- sandwiches start at 4,20 Euros.

On my recent first visit, I ordered the lunch menu (which conveniently comes in two sizes).
However, I couldn't tell you exactly what that consisted of: Organic somethingorother with a side dish of all-natural whatchamacallit. Despite not being able to identify my food, it was all good once I had figured out which parts were sweet and which savoury.
The atmosphere is just great, and I'll be sure to return for some more delicious mystery food soon. Or maybe next time I'll ask what it is.

Very cool atmosphere (I *love* that huge blackboard!
), friendly cooks, short waiting times and pretty good pasta. The chip card system is a bit gimmicky and the food could be a Euro or two cheaper, but it's still a place I'd recommend.

Plenty of space, a great atmosphere and free wifi make this an awesome place to get some work done in the afternoon or just hang out with friends later in the evening.
Think Phil or Möbel, but with superb and cheap food (limited to 2-3 new and unique choices each day). They also host interesting cultural events from time to time.
