The staff is nice, the rooms look clean, free wifi, but, big but: Bed Bugs!

Well, it seems the new owners which took over in the beginning of May are really committed to this place.
I was there today to have a chat with them and they are really nice.
It seems they got rid of the smell in the toilets :-)! So this starts to become a better place, and of course one of the cheapest in Christchurch.

This is a really great place located in Tanah Rata, Cameron Highlands.
It's at 1500m altitude and therefore not so humid and hot like the rest of Malaysia.
You pay 5RM once and get Wifi for the whole stay.

Really lovely place on Waiheke, you feel you're like in the middle of the jungle!

Cheap backpacker in King St, Newtown (= Sydney's Camden).
Weekly rate for a double is about 140 Euros. Place is loud though and not really clean, but has free Internet terminals and wireless.

Quite clean rooms. Free pancakes. Unfortunately I misinterpreted their homepage and the wireless internet access is not free...

This is a true gem!
Small Hostel with 10 beds only. Was one of the first in NZ 45 years ago. Thanks to the nice managers, Helen&Dannie!

Nice and simple place.
They owner even was once in St.Johann and knew Bunny's Pub. He runs the place now for 8 years and knows quite everything about the surroundings. A shuttle service is available if you want to go to the Pinnacles!
