IHOP Reviews (1)

In the past couple of months this particular location has gone form bad to worse.

Why? There is a group of young so called cow boys and girls who have the run of the place. In fact, while we were there they talked with the waitresses behind the partition and just laughed it up while we wondered when we were going to get service. They left for about 20 minutes and we wondered if staff was going to clean their table...then they came back and that's when the waitress who served us said that the cow people are in and out all day long. No one ever cleans the table because it is their hang out!

Tonight, the same thing happened. There were hoots and hollering and standing around at the entrance to the partition that separates the dinning from the prep area...the cow people came and went and there was much fun had by all except those of us waiting to be served!

Then came the burned crapes...apparently Oscar the cook was related to Oscar the Grouch as my order was burned even on the second try....not to mention that another waitress kept shouting "OSCAR!" over and over again throughout the stay.

The staff, too, was yucking it up amongst themselves and paying little attention to customers...particularly our table as we asked for our ticket and the waitress then disappeared for another long while. We figured she was typing in the order into the cash register with one finger up her nose. Finally we left...and we will not be back...Why?

The extreme noisiness of the interplay between the waitresses, Oscar the cook and the cow people was too much. That combined with the shitty service is why we will not be going back. We're not expecting Hell's Kitchen quality from this chain or fast food restaurants...but we do expect good/tasty food and a little attention from the waitresses.

In these economic times one would think that service and food quality would be the top priority...not so at this IHOP location.
