M12 Reviews (1)
One of the best of the best bars/clubs in Berlin due to the fact it has extremely nice, open-minded owners and managers, as well as class, originality, modernity, nonconformity.
It doesn't rape customers with ridiculous prices for entry and drinks, even though it's situated in the touristy center of the city, and they host some of the most recognized, and under-recognized musicians as well. They host just about everything, from trashy electroclash to closed-eyes-ambient avant garde, with installations and video pieces in the background (or forground, depending on how you look at it), M12 has it all; and if you're looking for a place to showcase your next 'great act' the guys there will listen to you seriously and try to fit you in. The 45 speaker system M12 implements is an interesting feature you don't see anywhere else; each speaker is suprisingly quiet, yet the aggregate sound in the room is much furthur reaching, leaving no corner of the room quieter than the other, which is not overwhelming, as you might think, it's rather nurturing that social vibe you usually get up closer to the dj's or performers.
