Last weekend I had the opportunity to visit the Tupalo headquarters in Vienna. I arrived just there at ten in the morning. After a quick tour through the office (thanks Melanie) and after I got some work done for Tupalo Rotterdam, we went out for lunch at a Thai place. To continue the hectic day & extended community-talk when we came back. Friday afternoon seems reserved for the weekly wrap-up. It was nice to hear about what your colleagues are up to.
I spend the rest of the afternoonish evening translating categories and copy for the Dutch site. Or at least, until 20:30. Then Mike and I strolled to Il Sestante, to eat with (at least a fair amount of) the rest of the team, meanwhile showing me which places I should definitely visit on my day off.
Saturday, that is. I woke up early, even though Kay, Tony, Saara and Mika took me on a night tour the day before. I found myself strolling through Vienna by 10 o’clock. And I kept on strolling (and getting lost) until 5 in the afternoon, except for this great vegan lunch I shared with Mike, Melanie and two of their friends.
I shot about 200 pictures and made even more miles.
No wonder I needed a good… Two hours sleep before going out with the group of the night before again. We had a great time and while they ended up at Voodoo’s, I went back to my hotel to pack my belongings and Facebook’ed a little, whilst waiting for my cab.
I had a great time and will go back asap. I miss the team already!

I think the Thai place you went to was Thai Isaan – it’s a restaurant we have lunch at on a pretty regular basis. :)
And yup, our 4pm’ish get-togethers on Fridays are to celebrate TGIF (hence the beer, hehe) and to talk about what happened that week!
