Altstadtbeisl Reviews (1)
The "Altstadtbeisl", or "Elfi" as it is called because of an old owner, is one of those cafes that help the cooler people to survive their teenager years growing up on the counrtyside.
"Elfi" always was the place, where those people were hanging out, that weren't into pubs or fancy bars or discos. So under the parents always went rumours that drug-dealers go there. But there haven't been more drug-dealers when anywhere else.
Lot's of people going to the "Elfi" went to university to Graz or Vienna and brought back the coolest records on the weekends. So you could hear new HipHop-, new Electronica- or just the new Metal-records.
At least it was like that in the early Nineties. I haven't been there for quite a while. But on the day before Christmas and on the Easter weekend you can go there and you'll meet up all the people from back then.
If you ever come to Judenburg, you for sure should check it out.
