La Casa Encendida Reviews (2)
La Casa Encendida is much more than a gallery, serving a cultural resource center for the Embajadores/Lavapiés area and Madrid as a whole.
One of the aspects I really appreciate is their educational programming, with anything from art in early childhood, language courses for both non-English and non-Spanish speakers, and technology courses for the mentally disabled. Another great feature is their promotion of "green" issues, for which they also offer a whole gamut of lectures and conferences. If you're interested in volunteering, La Casa would welcome you with open arms.
