Kate's Joint Reviews (4)
trendy diner/bar in a good location.
went here to get Sunday brunch, had an okay scrambler (basically tofu and cumin and a bit of salt), great potatoes, and our friendly Australian waiter hooked us up with free juice and stories.

The vegan southern-style-steak was really great - the burger was just okay.
But you should try the uncheese cake.

Definitely one of my favorite spots to visit when I'm in NYC.
From the greasy onion rings to their mock burgers, wings and brunch.
Definitely a haven for the scenester type, be prepared sometimes for a long wait or even a forgetful waiter with very fashionable hair. But don't worry, the food totally makes up for it and if it's greasy vegan comfort food you're looking for, you're at home at Kate's Joint.
