Assistens Kirkegård is a wonderful place to just hang out.
Having a picnic at a cemetary might sound weird to some, but you totally can do that here. It's so peacefully quiet and atmospheric and it gets oh so incredibly green and sunny in spring.

One of my favourite cafes in Copenhagen and also one of the most affordable ones.
Cozy interior and atmosphere, great location!
Had a delicious Soy Chai Latte there last time.

Amazing park in the heart of Frederiksberg.
It is huge and incredibly beautiful. Have a picnic, read a book, take a sunbath and enjoy the company of swan and duck families running and swimming around.

Cozy corner cafe and bar, a good place for any time of the day.
Good music too.
For vegans: They have a vegan burger on their menu and of course, soy milk.

charming jewish supermarket - a treasure trove of vegan products, such as vegan oreo-like cookies ("trios"), peanut chews (they taste like snickers), tofutti cheese a little cheaper than elsewhere, raspberry jello, very tasty humous and and and.
go there! :)

Tiny organic bakery in the heart of Copenhagen.
They have a table of ingredients for everything they sell plus they have a selection of vegan cakes and pastries too. Try their supersweet hindebærsnitte (raspberry slice) or kanelsnegl (cinnamon roll) for an affordable price - yum!

Charming cafe inside a bookstore (they sell second hand books too).
Make yourself comfortable with an espresso or maybe a cup of chinese flower tea and browse through the books in the shelves if you feel like it. They have everything from fiction to travel guides.
If new books is what your looking for, just go upstairs. But be careful, books tend too be quite pricey in Denmark due to high sales taxes.
