To me, Cafe Europa is less of a destination than a fallback: It's the place to go for a bite after midnight (that isn't McDonald's), and the place we always seem to end up at when we can think of nothing else.
Decent size, pleasant atmosphere, good tunafish Ciabatta.

Far less sophisticated than its name might appear to suggest.
Go there for some cheap late-night Schnitzel and beer (until 2am, or midnight on Sundays), as long as you don't mind mainstream radio playing in the background.

Has been closed for months now...
first they claimed to be on holidays, but now the sign has been removed and it's still shut.
I miss it. :(

Open 7pm-8am daily (yes, really!
), food served throughout. Nothing too special, but who cares when it's the only place open at 4am?

Nice and large, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff.
The menu is just how I like it, not very large but creative: I had "Crespelle mit Kürbis-Maronifüllung aus dem Ofen mit Schalotten-Oberscreme" and then pear dumplings that were so delicious my companion asked for the recipe.
They apparently serve a limited selection of the menu until 1 am.
The only drawback: It wasn't obvious to me which parts of the restaurant were non-smoking: Our table had a non-smoking sign on it, but guests two tables over were puffing away.
