Very good Szechuan restaurant.
Popular with Chinese locals and tourists, which is a good sign. Service can be a bit slow, but everything seems fresh so it is worth waiting. Some dishes can be glutinous and a bit heavy on the oil. Excellent by Austrian standards, reservations recommended.
As with all Szechuan, the food can be deceptively spicy, especially the morning after. The expression "arse like a bullet wound" springs to mind. Not the best place to go the night before a big meeting.

One of the best and most authentic Thai restaurants in Vienna.
Tholl is a tiny, spotlessly clean restaurant run by a friendly and enthusiastic Austrian. Only about 6 tables so booking advised, although it does not seem that well-known. For once in Austria the spicy stuff is really spicy - these are marked in the menu with 3 chillies for the safety of the Warmduschers. Recommend the spicy beef curry made with really tender bits of boiled beef, and the chicken satay starters.
