Great curryhouse featuring specialties from Sri Lanka.
One of the few spots in Vienna to grab a curry with some real kick to it. In fact, one of the choices for spiciness on their menu is simply a picture of an ambulance, so I think you can guess they mean business when it comes to . Lots of vegetarian and vegan options too.

A very cool idea for a buffet, eat all you want, but pay what you think it's worth, leaves one open to completely reinvent their dining experience.
Was the combination of food quality, service and experience good enough to warrant paying more than 5 euro for the buffet or should I pay a little more? In all honesty, yes, you should, but again, it's completely up to you, which is the point I'm trying to get across.
The curries are a piping hot (in temperature), the service is acceptable and the fact that I'm only paying full price for drinks is a great thing to remind yourself as your going back for your third of fourth plate of dahl masala.
I'd recommend reserving a table in the evening, but be sure to ask for a table on the first or second floor, the third floor, while cozy and charming, stinks of cigarette smoke, is as hot as a sauna thanks to the heat-pumping utility lamps they use and is usually packed full of cheap students who sit in the worst placed positions, effectively blocking your way to cheap curry nirvana.

I've got a new favorite Indian restaurant in Wien!
Everything was fresh, hot and delicious and extremely well-packed when I order for delivery. I can recommend the Chana Masala highly and their Sabzi Samosas were awe-some when dipped in the Mango Chutney.
Also, their delivery service is excellent, fast and pleasant. The driver actually had change and didn't spill the food all over the bag.

Food is amazing, but be prepared to wait.
Absolutely one of the best Indian restaurants I've ever been to. Food is fresh, hot and spicy and always quite large portions. But be prepared to wait.
With the outside seating, plus the indoor, the restaurant always has customers, but never enough waiting staff. The poor waitress is extremely nice, but always seems overwhelmed.
But once you get your meals, it's all good. I highly recommend their chickpea curry and their samosas are also excellent!

Go.
Now. Small, warm and welcoming family-run restaurant, with two of the nicest owners I've ever met, serving some of the tastiest curry I've ever had in Wien. Oh, and finally curries that have some sort of spice and taste to them!
The all you can eat buffet features 5 vegetarian / vegan curries, a giant bucket of rice, all you can grab pappadam, a salad bar and a tasty soup. Fill up your plates, fill up your stomach and have a pleasant and smoke-free experience. It's almost unheard of!
Oh yeah, they also have 3 additional curries with meat in them for you blood mouths.

A pleasant surprise!
From the exterior (and the interior) you wouldn't think much of Sahiba, but their food is extremely fresh, full of flavor and extremely affordable. Their lunch menu is super cheap, though a bit small and only has a few vegetarian options, but their full menu prices aren't as bad as many other restaurants.
The service is family-style, with a husband and wife team and their young daughter running around listening to her iPod. Extremely warm, attentive and nice, we were greeted and taken care of every step of our dinner.
The interior is worth a mention. A little bit kitsch, a little bit trashy, but that gives it loads of charm, surprisingly enough. Extremely high ceilings, red felt on the walls and blue outlines all over the place, it's definitely an experience.

Vego is one of the few all you can eat vegetarian/vegan Indian buffets in Vienna and they know it.
The food is quite good with there usually being a handful of different yummy curries for you to choose from. The service leaves a bit to be desired, but it's possible I've just hit them on bad days.
A tip, be prepared to pay for the bread on the buffet. That was a surprise for me the first time I went, hopefully that's a policy that's changed. Note to self: Don't assume that bread placed on an all you can eat buffet is also all you can eat.
