Very nice!
I had been hearing good things about Die Burgermeister for awhile now and finally had the chance to visit! The atmosphere is quite nice, clean and warm. Soundtrack is great (Jim O'Rourke was playing when I was there) and they have over 30 types of beers from around the world waiting for you beer junkies.
The smoke tofu burger was great, juicy, thick and they used a great ketchup. It would be excellent if they had a soy cheese, but I'm not going to ask for the World here.
Overall, pleasant, not *too* pricey and the food was great. A+++ would recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised.
I know of the Loving Hut from their locations in the US, so I went hoping they would have had some of their US specialties (vegan club sandwich with fries, vegan cheesecake), but no luck there.
What I did find was a great Kung Pao "Chicken", nice service in a clean location, that has a somewhat secret garden in the back. Though, the actual location on the Guertel leaves much to be desired as it's a pretty bleak area and view.
But that's all well and good when they are bringing out free vegan pastries to taste and serving an awesome fried cinnamon-banana ice cream sundae with frozen fruit in the bottom of it! Oh and also they have non-alcoholic wines and soon vegan-cocktails.

Super, all-you-can-fill falafel sandwiches and salads.
A fast-food vegetarian legend, Maoz Vegetarian is all over Amsterdam. This one is a bit small, with minimal seating (5-6 at the most), but it's packed, which means they are constantly refilling their salad bar with fresh ingredients. Also they always have a mixture of dancehall techno or indo-techno remixes on the sound system.
The idea is simple, order a sandwich with some falafel balls in it, then have your way with their 10+ item salad bar, fill all you can, take a few bites, then return to the bar and fill it some more!
Also, as a side grab some of their awesome fries, which are thick, crispy and come with several side sauces (I recommend the tahina).

High quality 'fast food' Italian in an extremely busy location in the heart of Wien.
The idea is great, a techno-friendly card system, with wireless notification devices. Order your pasta or pizza, sit down and wait for your little device to buzz letting you know that your feed is ready for pickup.
Pizza and pasta were super fresh, with great quality ingredients, though it's not quite authentic ("our pizza marinara has cheese and ham on it" - huh??).
This location is mega-busy around lunch, busy like, 8 people deep lines to wait in. But every line had a small line of little extras you can toss on your food, 2 types of olive oil, fresh peppers, parmesan cheese, dried oregeno and other goodies. Nice touch.
