McLennan County’s largest city and county seat, Waco, is located next to the Brazos river and I-35. The town has a population f around 135 thousand people and sits halfway between Dallas and Austin.Waco is a good sized city with a small town feel. We have everything from historic homes to arts organizations to things likes the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum. We also love our sports and have the Texas Sports Hall of Fame. If your an outdoors type of person, you will love Cameron Park. With 416 acres, there is something for everyone! Numerous races, boat races, and triathlons are held in Cameron Park.
Waco offers a lot in place for entertainment, but more importantly, we have three major colleges. This includes Baylor University, Texas State Technical College, and McLennan Community College.
