Nice restaurant with a cosy atmosphere, interesting décor and good food.
Price levels are ok too.

The big plus: it opens at 8:30 a.
m. (while the rest of the inner city is fast asleep untill 10 a.m.)
Since I had tea I can't say a lot about the coffee there but the tea was rather disappointing.

Posh!
Posh! Posh!
But what else would you expect from a restaurant in the Louvre?
Quite nice food (international with French touch), fancy décor and a very nice outdoor part (under the arcades with a view directly onto the Louvre's pyramid).
As a normal human being don't even think going there for dinner without a reservation (or being very lucky)...

I agree with pretty much everything - especially with the comment that it really deserves more than 3 stars (in my very humble opinion).
The non-smoking back room actually felt like it even though people were smoking in the front room.

Even though I really struggled with my bad conscience (well, foie gras is stuffed liver after all) I loved that little resto.
It's a very small very French (décor, atmosphere, and food wise) restaurant where they serve products such as foie gras, magret de canard and other traditional "home-made" products from their farm (domaine) in the Perigord region.
Little detail: each table has its own toaster (foie gras goes very well with fresh hot toast)

Fuxia is a small chain of Italian restaurants with good fresh food.
The one on Martyrs street is usually quite busy and especially tables outside are very hard to get. I've been there a couple of times and really enjoyed it.

If you're looking for a place with traditional food and drink of the region round Nuremberg that's one place to come too.
It's a family run hotel + restaurant in the inner city with good value for money.
In the evenings the restaurant can be packed with locals but the hotel often still has rooms available even if the standard hotel chains are booked out.

Not a very fancy place - but the food is absolutely worth a visit (or many as in my case).
Always packed with customers this Japanese restaurant serves a wide selection of soups, noodles, and rice (no sushi!). Just sit and watch as the cooks swirl their woks and prepare the meals at an amazing speed.
Price levels are quite moderate for Paris standards.

This place serves very tasty hot pots (Chinese fondue) with an all you can eat buffet of starters and fondue ingredients for a quite reasonable price.
I personally loved the coconut-thai soup combined with whatever ended up in the pot from around the table (especially the king prawns where delicious!).

Has good bento boxes for lunch at a quite reasonable price.
Nice atmosphere, good background music (sometimes they even play jazz music - something I never heard before in a restaurant).
Could have more boxes for lunch though - hence "only" 4 stars

Excellent Viennese food (but you also pay the price for it).
Quite homely nice and traditional atmosphere. Make sure you reserve in advance.

Great place with quite a big choice of different breakfasts, ranging from traditional to oriental to Mexican.
Bit crowded at times - especially if you're headed there for a "after Naschmarkt" coffee on weekends. Be ready to wait till you can finally conquer a table.
In short: good food/music/setting
