the vegan croissants were a little on the dry and not so fluffy side, the apple pie however was moist and delicious.
highly recommended.
the (vegetarian) lady serving me was superfriendly, prices are ok. lots of organic and marked (for your convenience) vegan sweets.

i had a really pleasant visit and left with an awesome haircut.
my hairdresser took a lot of time and put up with my many questions and demands. he wasn't chatty which i appreciate but kept me entertained and as i said had me leaving with an awesome hairday-smile. i will be back!

checked out this new all vegan joint in 1070.
- the location is central but strange: right on a stop light on Gürtel with nosy people gawking at you while you are eating.
- part of chain of restaurants that belongs to the Supreme Master (look her up, it's weird shit) which is a minus in my book b/c i dislike spirituality/ religion with my cake
- the food i tried so far is good, ok mix of austrian, asian and american cuisine; pasta, mock sea food, gluten schnitzel and more. great desserts (we got some free very delicious chocolate cake and zucchini cake with frosting). the smoothie was very expensive (3,90 EUR for a small glass)
i will definitely go back to try some more of their items, the doner, the burger etc. but i don't see it becoming a favourite.
oh, and check out the huge heart shaped sign with poetry on the wall. snort!

small grocery store with vegan and vegetarian products, fresh cheap produce and a cranky but helpful owner who speaks english and yells at you for opening the fridge, filled with soyghurt, tofu, spreads and tempeh, too long.
great for stocking up on snacks for travelling.
open from 11 am to 7 pm

small place that has a good selection of (organic?
) fruit and vegetable and serves a lunch special. only the cabbage was vegan, though, the rest of the food was covered in cheese. after a frustrating discussion about pasta with the older gentleman claiming that pasta without egg doesn't stick together, i left hungry and feeling like a cranky vegan asshole.

fuenf sterne, was sonst?

Small vegetarian/vegan restaurant (formerly known as Green way) that serves nice and healthy lunch menus at an affordable price.
always a few vegan options and most importantly: vegan dessert! i had a great chocolate cake on my first visit.
the clientele is very student/hippie/young, the place gets rather crowded around noon.
the atmosphere reminds me a little of a buffet at a students' home but the interior is nice enough with big wood tables and plants. didn't feel like i wanted to hang out there for long, though. more of a eat and leave kinda place.
