this is an amazing little spot: browse through books for hours, new and used, fiction and non-fiction, out of print, trashy paper backs, etc.
and when you finally get hungry go to the cafe across the hall and have a nice lunch and/or dinner, punk rockers with nice tattoos will serve you even.

this place is great!
burgers, tacos, fried noodles, fried rice, if you like vegan fast food you will like this new place.
not conveniently located in an inner district but the subway takes you there in no time.
clean, friendly, fresh ingredients, friendly staff.
this is a lovely place, go there now.

L&L is a "food store" that serves fresh and creative sandwiches (vegans, you will want to get sandwich number 13 and wash it down with a soy latte), salads and other snacks.

good for a quick lunch/snack when you are in the area and need a quick food fix.
i had the lentil soup which was good and cost an ok-ish 3, 50. i guess, that's cheap in the first district.
there seems to be a daily lunch menu, salads and sandwiches, too.
