Mhhhh! Delicious food, nice ambience and stylish, simple decoration, friendly service, good prices. Many starters are vegetarian. As a main dish they only have couscous with vegetables. Great desserts (they have a fix one on the menu, plus a daily dessert).

Had dinner here tonight with Jurie, Absinthe and my guy: it was simply delicious. Very nicely decorated - even the toilet is cute - super fresh and tasty food, and the service is perfect. Whatever suggestions they offer, you can't say no because they bring it in such a way that your mouth starts running. It is not cheap, but worth the money.
Unfortunately I Terroni is now the second best Italian restaurant in Vienna.

Was there last Thursday to attend an event about women and pornography, organized by an erotics shop (not the one I am working for). #

The club looks very stylish, especially downstairs, where they have huge white couches to relax on and quite a big dancing floor. The service is friendly. Can't say much about the prices of the drinks in general, only had a Gespritzter which costed €3,70. Not cheap I'd say.

The event was a bit disappointing, but that had nothing to do with the club itself. Would love to organize a party here some time!

Nice little fitness studio in the 7th district. Very friendly and professional trainers, who take your medical problems into account, keep an eye on you, and offer good advise and tips.

Price is about 45 euro per month. For that you can come as often as you like. You can have a Probetraining for free. The programm itself takes you less than an hour if you do things in a normal tempo.
Only disadvantage is that they close at 20:00, so you can't really go there anymore after work (unless you finish at 18:00).

You can get t-shirts, pants, coats, hats, bodies, with funny animals, robots, cars, fruit, all for a good price. When they have sales, it's 50% off, so I went home with a body and a t-shirt not even having paid 20 euro's.

I was really happy that one of my best friends has a baby, for now I had a good excuse to go in and buy something :)

Cool and original designer clothes, like the Sockenrock.
Very friendly people. If they don't have your size, don't worry: they will make it for you. The clothes are not cheap, but once in a while a woman should treat herself to something nice :)

And even cooler: next to it is a Friseur. If you are lucky like me, you can just walk in and ask if he has time to do something stylish with your hair. Otherwise, an appointment is needed. In my case, he did my way too long Stirnfransen for only 5 euro. Another plus: he uses organic hair products.

Not wanting to reveal to much about the experience, I will only say this: you will love getting into your suite the first time in the evening!!! You can arrange to have your breakfast in the room, or go to the restaurant, or cook yourself. That's the typical true Greek charme :) Yasou!

Totally unplanned for (really!) my friend and I ended up trying out cool designer clothes at Farone. The shop offers various (Spanish) labels like Mr. Cat and Isabel de Pedro, and has something for every one: cool clothes or something more elegant, original, sexy, sporty, cocktail dresses, make-up and accessoires. The shop-assistants are very helpful and come up with great suggestions that fit to your style and taste. If you don't have money, don't go in (or wait until sales) :)

Mmmm! Had a very tasty lunch here yesterday. As a starter, I had Gyosa, which was very fresh and made me hungry for more. Then I chose the fried noodles (every day freshly made!) with honey pepper chicken, which was great as well. Friendly service. Definitely a hot spot for me, and a good excuse to go shopping and strolling in the center of Mödling. Good prices.

The shop not only sells lovely lingery, toys, books, oils and other products, but also offers workshops, professional consultation and lectures about everything to do with sexuality, for individuals and couples. It is the perfect spot to have your first 'sexy shopping' experience, and once you have been there, most likely also the only shop you will go to for more. 5 stars here!

Tonight we went for a dinner party at the recently opened Landia, a vegetarian/vegan restaurant in the 7th district. I had samosa with a salad and melanzani, which was very good, but did not get anything else to eat because there was nothing left (and they had forgotten some orders, not just mine). The only thing I could get, was Apfelstrudel, which was a bit boring. But with the Frenchy's Apfelstrudel in mind, plus the ones from my grandmother in law, it is kind of hard for anyone else to compete. I give it 3 stars for now, but will come back after some time to try more. I am pretty sure the problems they had this evening were getting-started-problems, and the fact that we had reserved for 8 and 14 of us came :)

Two weeks ago Herr und Frau Klein moved to the other side of the street, where the video store used to be. They now have a big shop with more space for all their great products. Not having kids myself, I almost feel tempted to have one so that I can buy lots of the cool, unconvential children's clothes, toys and kid's furniture they have. The people working in the shop are very friendly, offer practical tips and professional advice, and give the customer the opportunity to have a good, undisturbed look around. The little kids can run around a play with some of the toys, and the parents can even chance their dypers. This shop is perfect for anyone who does not want the usual kid's stuff, is in need of good advice and is willing to pay a bit extra for high quality/fair trade products.

Been coming to this Chinese restaurant since I was a little child. It is the best Chinese I have ever been: the taste is authentic and nothing like the standard Chinese food every one knows. Downside: they serve you very fast and seem to want you out of there asap so they can have new costumers. So if you want a nice, long, romantic dinner, don't go to Fat Kee. If you want great Chinese food, it's the place to be. If you like very, very hot sambal, order some backed sambal to go with your food! They have take away, but it is not recommended: for some reason it never tastes as good as when you eat in the restaurant.

After many months of passing by this restaurant on my way home from work, today I finally had the opportunity to have lunch here with my friend. The place looks trendy, a bit nihilistic style and is always filled with people. For each day the restaurant has a fixed Mittagsmenu. For the evening they have a menukarte with different choices. We had a melanzani/zucchini lasagne on a salad and a desert which was some sort of chocolate and biscuit 'roulade'. The lasange existed of 2 small pieces and was almost cold. Their was a long black hair on the plate of my friend. The taste of the lasagne was nice though (therefore the 1 star rating). The desert was a small slice of cake. It tasted dryish and uninteresting. We payed 14 euro for this, including a mineral water and a limonade. We decided to never go here again and later had a wonderful tiramisu (for we were still hungry ofcourse) at I Terroni :) 29-05-2008The restaurant does not exist anymore :)

'Das Label fuer froehliche Frauen und Fuerchtlose Maenner' Ofcourse, after reading this, I had to have a look inside this small shop. If you want to buy an original gift for a friend (or for yourself like I did today), this is the place to be. It has recently been opened. You can find cool bags here, T-shirts, accessories and funny jewelry. The artist uses tiny fotographs in her products that she has made herself, combined with other funny little objects, which give the products a very original and happy look. I will come back for a bag for sure! More info about the artist: Michele Mahalkuenstlerische Fotografie, Video, Konzepte, Objektewww.nearlyfamous.at

Had a late lunch there yesterday. Very nice location on a small square with a church, with the possibility to sit outisde. Pittoresk :)Very friendly people working there, small menu with salads and bread dishes. Salat Nicoise was very good. Ok prices.

Irodion - (4/5)

Was here about one week ago. Had a lovely evening on the terras with good food, a wine from Santorini (something I have not seen on the wine menu of Greek restaurants so far) and friendly waiters. Only downside was the Calvados: expensive one-sip drink, unless you are an ant :)

Stylez - (2/5)

I think Stylez is a nice place during the day. Been there a few times in the afternoon for a cocktail and it was always enjoyable: cool music in the background, cool pics on the wall and so far, friendly service. The one time I went there for a drink in the evening though, it was very busy and noisy and I did not like the atmosphere.

El Gusto - (3/5)

El Gusto is a Spanish Tapas restaurant in the first district. The restaurant is not big so it is advisable to make a table reservation. In summer, they have a couple of tables outside. The food is expensive considering the small portions you get, but the taste is authentic and the quality very good. The sangria is awesome, but yes, you will wake up with a headache the next morning :)

Mocca Club - (5/5)

If you are a coffee lover, go to this cafe/bar near Naschmarkt. The Mocca Club is quite big and has an Oriental/North African atmosphere, a bit Lounge-like, with comfortable couches to hang out and relax. The menu contains lots of different flavoured coffees from all over the world to choose from. For the vegan coffee lover: if my memory serves me right, I remember to have read they offer the possibility to use sojamilk. My colleague had a coffee with chocolate sauce, which was delicious. Since I, unfortunately, can't drink coffee, I chose a hot chocolate called Elfenbeinkueste. It was the most wonderful hot chocolate I've ever had! Check it out dudes!

I Terroni - (4/5)

This Italian restaurant in the 7th district of Vienna is one of my favorite restaurants. The place has a nice atmosphere, is always filled with people and is suitable for a private, romantic dinner for two and for bigger groups as well. The waiters are friendly and one does not need to wait long to get served. The restaurant has a fixed menu and a menu that changes once per month (I think). So far I have tried out some pasta dishes and the pizzas. Every time it tasted wonderful. The pizzas have balanced, original toppings, like the pizza San Daniele for instance, with the San Daniele ham, Grana cheese and fresh rucola. For the vegitarian foodlovers I can recommend the pizza Spinaci, but there are also some other vegitarian possibilities. The tiramisu is also very tasty. The prices are good for the quality you get: an average pizza costs around 8-9 euro. If you are used to very big and thick pizzas, you might be disappointed though. For those of us who want to eat the...
