Great little restaurant with friendly service.
Authentic taste. Only downside is that the main dish portions are a bit small.

The coffee that goes with it, was not that great. A glass of juice was not included, eventhough my breakfast costed exactly the same as the Vital Frühstück...

Condomi is a little shop, but oho!
It is the place to buy condoms and all kinds of fun/naughty gifts that are perfect for a wedding, a bachelor party/polter abend or just for yourself or your boyfriend/girlfriend.
There is a big assortiment of condoms, so you will surely find what you need. And, like in Liebenswert, you can expect thorough, friendly advice and tips.
Vibratissimo, a little room with erotic toys for women, is at the back of the shop. To enter this room, you need to be 18 years of age or older (Jugendschutzgesetz).

Little museum with the condom as the main theme, in the Gewölberaum underneath Liebenswert.
Here you can learn about the history of the condom, and have a look at curiosities having to do with comdoms and birth/STD/HIV prevention.
Schools can get a tour, including Frau Ingrid Mack explaining everything, answering questions and showing a video about the production of condoms - for free! You need to call though for an appointment.

Small but cute little shop in the 8th district, with 'erfrischende, bunte Kleidung für Kinder von 0-8 Jahren'.
The label they sell is a Danish one called 'smafolk'. You can get t-shirts, pants, coats, hats, bodies, with funny animals, robots, cars, fruit, all for a good price. When they have sales, it's 50% off, so I went home with a body and a t-shirt not even having paid 20 euro's.
I was really happy that one of my best friends has a baby, for now I had a good excuse to go in and buy something :)

Discovered this shop today.
As Melanie wrote: fun and cute clothes. I have tried some dresses and a shirt and yes, you need 1 size bigger than you normally have. Not having anything in XL, I unfortunately left with nothing :(
At the moment they have a birthday discount until the end of April 2009. Without the discount the clothes are quite expensive for just (mostly) cotton material. But you will have something original.

El Gusto is a Spanish Tapas restaurant in the first district.
The restaurant is not big so it is advisable to make a table reservation. In summer, they have a couple of tables outside.
The food is expensive considering the small portions you get, but the taste is authentic and the quality very good. The sangria is awesome, but yes, you will wake up with a headache the next morning :)

After many months of passing by this restaurant on my way home from work, today I finally had the opportunity to have lunch here with my friend.
The place looks trendy, a bit nihilistic style and is always filled with people.
For each day the restaurant has a fixed Mittagsmenu. For the evening they have a menukarte with different choices.
We had a melanzani/zucchini lasagne on a salad and a desert which was some sort of chocolate and biscuit 'roulade'.
The lasange existed of 2 small pieces and was almost cold. Their was a long black hair on the plate of my friend. The taste of the lasagne was nice though (therefore the 1 star rating). The desert was a small slice of cake. It tasted dryish and uninteresting.
We payed 14 euro for this, including a mineral water and a limonade. We decided to never go here again and later had a wonderful tiramisu (for we were still hungry ofcourse) at I Terroni :)

The restaurant does not exist anymore :)

Totally unplanned for (really!
) my friend and I ended up trying out cool designer clothes at Farone. The shop offers various (Spanish) labels like Mr. Cat and Isabel de Pedro, and has something for every one: cool clothes or something more elegant, original, sexy, sporty, cocktail dresses, make-up and accessoires. The shop-assistants are very helpful and come up with great suggestions that fit to your style and taste. If you don't have money, don't go in (or wait until sales) :)

Been coming to this Chinese restaurant since I was a little child.
It is the best Chinese I have ever been: the taste is authentic and nothing like the standard Chinese food every one knows.
Downside: they serve you very fast and seem to want you out of there asap so they can have new costumers. So if you want a nice, long, romantic dinner, don't go to Fat Kee. If you want great Chinese food, it's the place to be.
If you like very, very hot sambal, order some backed sambal to go with your food!
They have take away, but it is not recommended: for some reason it never tastes as good as when you eat in the restaurant.

Had lunch there a few days ago.
Place looks nice, they have a garden, friendly waiters and boy, are they fast with bringing you the food!
Lots of traditional food on the menu, including Knoedel, Knoedel and Knoedel with almost everything :) My friend had the spareribs which were great (I had a little taste). I had a Schnitzel (pork) which was huge and quite nice. Prices are a bit high, but you get a lot of food for your money.

'Salon für Mode und Haare'
Cool and original designer clothes, like the Sockenrock.
Very friendly people. If they don't have your size, don't worry: they will make it for you. The clothes are not cheap, but once in a while a woman should treat herself to something nice :)
And even cooler: next to it is a Friseur. If you are lucky like me, you can just walk in and ask if he has time to do something stylish with your hair. Otherwise, an appointment is needed. In my case, he did my way too long Stirnfransen for only 5 euro. Another plus: he uses organic hair products.

Had breakfast there.
Took about 30 minutes to get it, and I think it is a bit expensive :(
Friendly service though, and nice atmosphere plus terrace. The pancakes with sirup are yummy. The poached egg with mayonaise (?) sauce you better not take if you don't like a buttery taste.
My boyfriend had a ommelet provinciale, which was good. But if you really want a tasty Eispeise, you should go to the Kleines Cafe in the first district.
I prefer having lunch or a drink here.

Two weeks ago Herr und Frau Klein moved to the other side of the street, where the video store used to be.
They now have a big shop with more space for all their great products. Not having kids myself, I almost feel tempted to have one so that I can buy lots of the cool, unconvential children's clothes, toys and kid's furniture they have.
The people working in the shop are very friendly, offer practical tips and professional advice, and give the customer the opportunity to have a good, undisturbed look around. The little kids can run around a play with some of the toys, and the parents can even chance their dypers.
This shop is perfect for anyone who does not want the usual kid's stuff, is in need of good advice and is willing to pay a bit extra for high quality/fair trade products.

Had the daily lunch menu today, which was quite tasty.
You get a small miso soup as a starter, which was the best miso soup I have had so far. As a main dish, you can choose between two possibilities. I had the Thai Wok with rice, which was good as well. You can add the spiceyness yourself.
Nice atmosphere with cool Asian comic drawings on the wall, friendly waitresses and fair prices (less than 7 euro for the daily lunch menu). Am looking forward to trying out their maki and sushi.

This Italian restaurant in the 7th district of Vienna is one of my favorite restaurants.
The place has a nice atmosphere, is always filled with people and is suitable for a private, romantic dinner for two and for bigger groups as well. The waiters are friendly and one does not need to wait long to get served.
The restaurant has a fixed menu and a menu that changes once per month (I think).
So far I have tried out some pasta dishes and the pizzas. Every time it tasted wonderful. The pizzas have balanced, original toppings, like the pizza San Daniele for instance, with the San Daniele ham, Grana cheese and fresh rucola. For the vegitarian foodlovers I can recommend the pizza Spinaci, but there are also some other vegitarian possibilities.
The tiramisu is also very tasty.
The prices are good for the quality you get: an average pizza costs around 8-9 euro. If you are used to very big and thick pizzas, you might be disappointed though.
For those of us who want to eat their tasty pizzas at home: they do take-out. Huray!

Had a going-away-party this evening at this restaurant.
I did not have a pizza, but chose a tomato salad with fresh basil and a spaghetti with garlic, peppers and parsley. The spaghetti was nice, the salad fresh. To me though, I Terroni and I Caruso are still the best Italian restaurants in Vienna. Apart from the food being really, really tasty (both pizza's and pasta's), I like the style of the restaurants plus the service better.

Had a great evening tonight at Irodion: good food and a very fun and friendly Greek waiter who was very entertaining.
The portions were a lot better than last time, meaning not so big, for a good price.
Fun detail: one of the people working there spoke Dutch to me on the phone when I reserved a table, eventhough I spoke German and do not have a really fat Dutch accent. That's the typical true Greek charme :) Yasou!

Very friendly and professional trainers, who take your medical problems into account, keep an eye on you, and offer good advise and tips.
Price is about 45 euro per month. For that you can come as often as you like. You can have a Probetraining for free. The programm itself takes you less than an hour if you do things in a normal tempo.
Only disadvantage is that they close at 20:00, so you can't really go there anymore after work (unless you finish at 18:00).

If you want to treat someone special on a very special evening (and night) in a hotel, Appartments a la Niky in Vienna's third district is absolutely amazing.
The location is quite hidden but easily reached with tram 1. Niky has 8 named suites, each one having its own style. You can have a good impression of all suites on the webpage. But if you can't choose, you are very welcome to come by and have a look at them before you make a reservation.
You can arrange to have a Badebutler, meaning the whirlpool in the bathroom will be prepared for you whenever you want (for instance when you arrive). Not wanting to reveal to much about the experience, I will only say this: you will love getting into your suite the first time in the evening!!!
You can arrange to have your breakfast in the room, or go to the restaurant, or cook yourself. Everything is possible.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. Really, there is nothing negative to say about this wonderful place.
Yes, it costs something, but the happiness you feel is more than worth it. You can have a weekend arrangement including dinner at the Kuchlmasterei, which is a good offer. We did not eat here though, so I can't tell anything about the food. The breakfast is very good though!
Hope to come back here!

The club looks very stylish, especially downstairs, where they have huge white couches to relax on and quite a big dancing floor. The service is friendly. Can't say much about the prices of the drinks in general, only had a Gespritzter which costed €3,70. Not cheap I'd say.
The event was a bit disappointing, but that had nothing to do with the club itself. Would love to organize a party here some time!
