Excellent Hausmannskost (the Fleischknödel are my personal favourite) and live piano (or guitar, if it's a warm summer night and no-one inside) music.
The staff is very friendly and do a great job at making you feel welcome.
Over all a rather recommenable place, but due
to the cosy interior and the heavy food the place is probably more suitable for winter nights.

Best Turkish breakfast in the area.
Includes Eggs, feta, cucumber, tomato, olives, honey and potatoes, at a more than fair price of 5,50 Euro.
Love the winter garden!

What used to be a Turkish Supermarket (with fresh kebap) at the corner of Brunnengasse and Grundsteingasse has now been turned into a restaurant.
The interior is bright, new and shiny, the staff friendly.
My Tavuk Sis Jogurtlu was only ok, not great, but the place has only just opened, so the chef might just need a bit more practice.

Die überbackenen Brote sind gut, und auch sonst schmeckt's im Gürtelbäu.
Die Akkustik find ich allerdings recht schlecht und anstrengend.

Definitely still one of the best Turkish restaurants in town (or at least in the area).
Amazing mixture of people, from conservative to studenty to (Turkish) locals.
Very good food for extremely decent prices.
The garden has suffered from the extension and sometimes the staff will not be quite sure who's responsible for you, but over all they are always friendly and as attentive as they can be.
Something I've never tried out myself: they start serving breakfast at 6 in the morning and the menu looks like that breakfast could be just what one needs.

One of my favourites.
Delicious food (love the chicken kebab), and good service.

Much nicer on the inside than one would expect from outside.
Pretty ok food, my company really enjoyed the pizza, as well as the Grappa afterwards.
Not a must go there, but definitely an ok place if you're looking for a decent meal in that neighbourhood.

Good burgers and an absolutely delicious chicken and mushroom pie.
Large number of tasty cocktails, with a happy hour (half price) between 11pm and 1 am (if I remember the times correctly).
Quiznight on Thursdays.
Can get rather packed and noisy.

Went to a party at the cellar in March.
The food was good, the location very ok (wuzzler/table football available) and as far as I remember the place was open till 4.
Unfortunately I know nothing about the financial aspects of renting that cellar.

The Lion Rampant is so new that it does not seem to have a webpage yet.
So much for that.
The food is superbe, the chicken and leek pie small but delicious. I have not tried their deep fried Mars bar myself, but the fact that the have it on the menu speaks for itself.
Other very positive things to mention so far are the lovely staff and the (in a way very) authentic pub interior (when I stepped inside for the first time I felt like I'd just been teleported to England).
They say they have an open mic night on Sundays.
They're also working on their live music line-up.

Have just removed this review from MAK where it definitely did not belong.
I've only been to the bar section of the place so far and even though I find it rather uncomfortable when it comes to the table setup I do very much appreciate the really friendly service and the free wlan.
