A good shop for everything martial-arts related.
Karate, TKD, Judo, Eskrima, Muay Thai, Boxing, protection, Aikido etc. Basic, friendly and relatively cheap. Not the coolest spot to hang out but you are not spoiled for choice if you want to buy martial arts supplies in vienna. Sadly no MMA or BJJ/grappling related stuff.

The biggest Martial-Arts store in Vienna.
Uniforms/Gi, gloves, protection, equipment for almost any martial art you can think of. Since they moved to a bigger location with a friendly atmosphere it`s even more convenient to browse through the movies or martial art books. The manager knows his stuff and is willing to help you out. More expensive than Daniken but slightly more choice. No BJJ/MMA/Grappling though, but the Manager is a big Cro-Cop Fan and knows what you are talking about when you mention the UFC ;-)

This is a new mexican-style eating spot for all the lunch hungry students and sararimen near university.
It`s fast-food in the sense that it`s self-service and you can watch the people prepare your meal but all the stuff looks really fresh and tasty. They specialize in Burritos and Tacos that you can customize yourself with beans, rice, jalapenos, salsa, guacamole etc. The Burritos are the closest you will ever come to the size of a Burrito from the Mission in SF but of course a little more expensive. Vegetarian Burrito 4,30€, Single Taco 1,80€. Not a place to sit and chat for the afternoon but if you like mexican fast food I would recommend it. Of course everything can be customized to be vegetarian or vegan. They also have an offer involving beer and buckets but as it was lunch time I didn`t check the details...

Eingang: Rotensterngasse.

If you are even remotely interested in (fantasy) gaming (roleplaying , CCG, miniature gaming, boardgames...
) Planet Harry is the place to go in Vienna. The small shop is stacked with a good selection of roleplaying games (D&D,CoC,Warhammer RPG, you name it) some TCGs (Yes: Magic, World of Warcraft No: Yu-Gi-Oh, Versus) fantasy literature, comic trade-paperbacks (Vertigo, Image, some indie publishers etc.)LARP weapons, collectible miniature games (D&D, Dreamblade, various Clix, boardgames (publishers like fantasy flight, days of wonder etc.), miniature wargames (not warhammer) and your generic geeky bunch of customers. The shop is aimed at older gamers, 90% of the products are in english. The owner is a really nice guy and can help you out with almost anything gaming related, plus he got the lowest rates for rpg related stuff in Vienna! Highly recommended.
