The atmosphere was completely devoid of any indian elements, the menu features a handful of standard dishes.
Breakfast was boring but all in the 7€ range. A double espresso costs 3.8€ which is a small fortune.

The one nice thing about the place was that the coffee tasted very good, and the consistency of the steamed milk foam. hence the review should be 2/5 stars, but I can't change the rating anymore...

The selection was nice, even though the goods were poorly lit, contrary to the restaurant's name.

Overly self-righteous bourgeois guys at the bar slightly dampened the mood with their comments about my outfit (cargo pants are not potatoe bags!), and the waiters seemed a bit too much at ease with themselves, but overall the atmosphere was very friendly.

Next time I'll wear some pants & polo shirt.

Ich vermute das kommt von der Besitzerin, auf die das auch zutrifft.
Ich war da auf einem privaten Fest, das Essen war wirklich gut und vielseitig, Marke "wieso passt nicht mehr in den Magen?" und sauberst praesentiert, traditionell bis mediterran.
Hinten im ruhigen Innenhof gibts einen angenehmen Gastgarten, und die verschiedenen Moebel runden die Mischung aus Bar, Cafe und Restaurant ab.
Ausserdem war man flexibel was Musikwuensche anbelangt, und die Lautstaerke war gerade richtig.

Sehr sonnig, guter Kaffee und die italienischen Naschspeisen sind himmlisch sündig.

), aber einfallslos sind die freundlichen Leute dort eher selten. Die kulinarischen Themen variieren, manchmal in Einklang mit Angekuendigten Gaesten oder Ausstellungen.

Im Endeffekt ist das Lokal ein Treffpunkt fuer Leute mit einschlaegigen Interessen, ohne dabei unangenehm oder peinlich zu sein. Schnupperbesuche mit unvorbereiteten Freunden sind kein Problem, aus vielleicht Samstag Abend wenn's grad ein Fest gibt...

Und Drahdiwaberl trifft man dort auch manchmal!
