The room is lovley and, depending on your taste, you'll either love it or hate it. But there's no denying it's friendly, bright and festive.
The focus here is on a few traditional Viennese breakfasts and various Austrian dishes done with much higher quality and dairy products. The selection of cheeses is among the best in Vienna, and one can order milk in numerous guises. Cheese plates come with lovely, crusty bread and the Viennese Wedding Soup is a wintertime favorite.
This place is a great way to sample the quality associated with a Michelin-starred restaurant (upstairs) while maintaing a casual, affordable approach.
Highly recommended, but doesn't have a nonsmoking area.
