Akakiko offers comfortable and easy Asian food. The chain actually differs a bit per restaurant and for me I liked that service was fast here and food was decent. They have a 3 course meal on offer at the moment, daily, and whilst I find everything "solid" I prefer eating at places with a bit more authenticity - hence the 3 star rating only.

A flawed democratic process (think hanging chads) led me to partaking in a group takeaway. Akikiko's food is not actually inedible, but it's just not what it should be (e.g. sushi with sauce on - and a sauce of uncertain provenance at that.) Never again! Long live lunchtime dictatorial edicts!

Good food for a not too expensive price. However this is not the best Sushi place I have been, and would not recommend if you are a Sushi expert.

Quality goes down with each visit - they're trying to cover too many Asian cuisines with the result that they don't do anything right.

Lets face it: Akakiko is McDonald's in Japanese.

And as MecDonald's it is not cheap for what you get. As compared to other - good! - sushi places, you pay at least the same amount for some maki not even correctly done (the nori-sheets always are amiss at the maki's bottom).

If its your first time trying sushi, go somewhere else. If you are a sushi-veteran, go somewhere else. If you are a sushi-lover, avoid at all costs.

Akakiko is everywhere, and their food is not the worst Asian in town. A big plus point is the excellent delivery service on wozukochen.at - very reliable and informative. I think the only place in town where you know who has prepared your meal, when it was despatched to your place, and what the mobile number of the delivery guy is.

One of Vienna´s favourite Asian Restaurants. And of course on of Vienna´s best viewpoints. The only reason why I dont vote it with 5 stars is the size, it´s nonpersonal. And I forgot, it´s getting more expansive every year...

I have to admit, I've always had a strange feeling about the Akakiko empire here in Wien. But that's starting to go away with every visit. The new interior is quite impressive and the food always seems to be hot and freshly-made. Veg-leaning eaters should try the Yasai-Itame if they are looking for a nice dish of crispy tofu in a mild red sauce.

The few times I've been there, the service has always been friendly and quick, which is another pleasant surprise. Also, Summertime is for sitting on the roof and looking down on the sprawling city.
