Bio Bar von Antun Reviews (5)
Thumbs up!
I was looking for a vegan restaurant near the location where a hands-on seminar took place and found it through tupalo – my collegue and I were delighted and very happy with our choice.
True that it is on the pricey side but definitely worth it - soup with unripe spelt grain, vegetables and a little bit of mint, then a delicious lasagna and a fantastic banana-poppy seed cake. Also the service was very nice and amiable, I just felt like having a nice lunch in a nice place.
Vienna does has so much more vegan and vegetarian options than Linz... that would be a big point considering moving to Vienna ;)
Great vegetarian restaurant in the heart of Wien's first district.
Service was quick, friendly and extremely casual and the food absolutely brilliant.
Starter was a super fresh and delicious portion of bruschetta, featuring a homemade sauce and smoked tofu topped with soy cheese, followed by a main dish of fresh vegetables covered in margarine and herbs, next to a unique rendition of cordon bleu, vegan-style, I left more than full and more than happy.
A bit on the pricey side, but it's absolutely worth it and what can you expect from a 1st district bio bar in the heart of Wien? Also, fun to spot local politician Madeleine Petrovich, whose family are the owners of the Bio Bar.
