Café Restaurant Bräunerhof Reviews (7)
i was immediately drawn to the 50ies style yellow tile facade, the coffee was quite delicious and for a inner district location not too overpriced.
service was not too enthusiastic, my waiter had an impressive beard, though.
the place was crowded with tourists, even a group of tourists stormed in, took a quick look around, thomas bernhard was mentioned and then they continued on their guided tour.
definitely check it out when in the area but don't go out of your way to get your coffee there
If you like classical Viennese Kaffeehaeuser, this is a pretty good one.
Exquisitly grumpy waiters, just the right degree of runtergekommenheit, Apfelstrudel. The only surprise was that the coffee was actually decent.
