Cafe Prückel Reviews (9)
I always liked the Prückel because of its beautiful 50s interior.
Unfortunately they decided to ban 'Augustin' vendors. (Augustin = Viennese street paper). Not a nice move.
When I was there recently there was one Augustin vendor selling his stuff inside, and I overheard a conversation between a waiter and another customer, they banned all because of one because it was getting too much or something like that. Still not a nice move, but I nevertheless believe the waiter who concluded with "it's not all black and white".

this is a typical viennese cafè.
the applestrudle is so good there! prices are okay.
but it's terribly smokey! there's a non-smoking area but it's too sad there are none of those comfortable couches. that sucks.
Ein wirklich gutes Cafe und die Prückel Creme ist sehr gut Die Kellner sind auch sehr wienerisch A really good Cafe with an amazing coffee called Prückel Creme The waiters are typically unfriendly but if you go there a few times they will recognize you the best thing about Prückel is that there are no tourists and it is very quiet and yet in the first district

Great interior from the 50ies, in white, pale pink and beige.
Grumpy way too busy waiters, so be prepared to wait a while until you get some attention. Coffee is good, apfelstrudel is fresh and delicious.
