Club Berlin Reviews (3)
Looks like a "trendy bar" on the first glance, however as you enter the basement it's a lot more trashy.
The music is usually really nice, covering many a genre. Cocktails are okay and all in all this is a good club to hang out for all kinds of people.
The Club Berlin (or CB) was my favorite pub for many years.
It has expanded last year and took over the former shop besides to enlarge the area on the ground floor. You will find 3 rooms in the cellar: A, B and C (or Club) Room. Nowadays many young people make reservations for celebrating parties, but in the old times everybody was partying and even dancing on the bar (watch your head because of the low ceiling). I had a great time there and sometimes come back to chat with other people who spent as much time at the CB as I did when I was younger (gosh, I feel old!).
I loved the "Fladen" (toasted Turkish white bread with different toppings), especially in the middle of the night when I had too many drinks and needed to sober up a bit. The only negative thing for me is that everybody smokes and after a while you feel like you just can't take it anymore, because you will asphyxiate.
I've only been here once, years ago.
Another nice trendy-ish bar/club.

Why Not
Tiefer Graben 22Gay disco club, a good one. Free entry until midnight. On Fridays music from the 60s-80s (mostly in modern mixes, alas); charts on Saturdays. A crowdy, loud, gay place. -

Gnadenlos
Seitenstettengasse 5First off: I usually neither like clubs, nor the "Bermudadreieck". But the Gnadenlos is a nice exception. It seems to be just another one of the small drinking-locatio...
