Went here based on the glowing reviews from other Tupalos. I must say I was not overwhelmed. Maybe I am missing something? It is a cosy, trendy little place located in the 2nd. Small, efficient, and friendly enough. Has a range of coffees and cakes including mohn cake and brownies which looked very dangerous to the waistline (This type of danger is definitely not bad for now!). I took a coffee and also bought some banana bread to nibble on the way back. Strong coffee. Basically I thought it was nice enough overall particulary for those whom love their sweets, but I would not go out of my way to visit again.

A very nice and stylish place. I was very impressed with the decor and furniture. Drinks prices are quite steep, especially when considering the location. The cakes are moderatly priced and excellent. I can only recommend the cheesecake, which comes in 4 layers, crumble on the bottom, cheesecake-filling, fruit sauce and another layer of different cheescake-filling. Very delicious. The brownie with the peanut drizzle on top was maybe a bit on the dry side, not gooey enough for my taste. The vegan banana bread, however was outstanding. The consistency was spot-on and it was incredibly moist. The espresso was strong and good. Will definitely go there again.

I tend to agree with all of the gleaming reviews so far.

Fett + Zucker is an extremely stylish, comfortable and laid back cafe, with pretty good coffee, especially their soy latte, extremely tasty cakes, cookies and other backed goods and a host of regional sodas which you've probably never heard of (but must try!)

The owner is extremely nice, usually striking up a conversation or two with whoever is walking in the door and also has a keen eye for interior design.

Overall, a lovely cafe that I *wish* I could visit more often, if it weren't so far from where I live. But, you can't have everything in life!
