Le Bol Reviews (11)
i love everything about this place.
the bistro-food is great (albeit a bit on the pricy side..), the (french!) staff are really nice and generally, the atmosphere is wonderful.
the tarte au pommes and the gateaux are really, really recommendable, as is anything i ever had there, basically.
this is really one of my favourite places in vienna!
the food is more than delicious. the pastries are heaven (check out fruth for this). the employees are totally nice. everything is cute and SO french. sadly it's hard to get a seat outside when it's sunny on weekends. make a reservation if you plan to go there.
but this spot is really - a treasure!
Le Bol is very good at what it does - nice baguette sandwiches and tartines, good coffee and breakfast bits.
What it does not offer, unfortunately, is French food on a larger scale. Can get crowded.
There is a dearth of French restaurants in Vienna, ou etes-vous mesdames et messieurs?
Thankfully Le Bol opened last year, it has good food, good decor, and good service. It's just a pity so many people have noticed this ;)
The best French breakfast in Vienna.
But the service is slow and sometime the kitchen runs out of food.
Le Bol is the best French Spot to be in Vienna.
Hot Choclate, Pain au chocolat, Salad, Onion Soup... mmmmmmmhmmmmmmmmm. Sitting on one big table, making new contacts :-)

Schleifmühlgasse 8Coté Sud is a gem. Small but beautiful, the food is lovingly prepared by the wonderful Patricia, who is always ready to suggest the perfect glass to accompany.
