Li's Cooking Asia Reviews (6)

Always had a good meal here: curry's are great, sushi/maki as well.

When it comes to getting a table, you need to be lucky, at least during lunch time. Friendly service, good prices.

Excellent Asian food - and not too expensive.

The place is usually packed due to the size of the place, but if you are not in a hurry, you will get a table after about 10-15 minutes waiting. It´s worth it.
Staff is extremly friendly. Interieur is OK - nothing spectacular.
The menu is very big and I always find it hard to decide on what to choose. But I have never been disappointed yet.

I've been to Li's Cooking regularly.

I love it. Very friendly staff, little treat on the house (sort of maki which I've never had before and dessert). Always packed with people, especially during mid-day-time. It's worth a visit though!! Average Prices: menus from 6-9€. I enjoyed the "Bali Noodle Soup" (main dish), "Satay Chicken Menu" is also recommendable

On the search for decent sushi in Vienna, I should have probably not started at the Naschmarkt, but hunger and desire couldn't wait, and Li's Cooking was just there, so in we went.

The staff was very friendly and started us off with a little treat on the house (2 pieces of Maki with tempura shrimp, avocado and salmon in a mango sauce. nice) However, a good place to start when judging japanese/pan-asian cuisine is always the Miso Soup, I think. It was decent, but far from home-made. I got the small sushi set (4 pc of salmon - good, 2 pc of tuna/bonito - good, 2 pc of butterfish - nice), it was alright, not exceptional. The wasabi was nice and fluffy. The California Roll however was big disappointment: it was cold and could have might as well stemmed from a supermarket shelf. The rice was not fresh and of course the less than mediocre avocado killed the experience entirely. I am not saying, I wouldn't return to Li's, but probably not for the sushi experience.
