No, it's tiny. 5 tables, one bar. Room for about 30 people at best. They do, hoewever, get the place really crowded AND pack

into the place. And this goes like this: The starting line up consists of 2 guitarists (one electric and one accoustic,), one of them also singing, 1 bassist and the percussionist. Then, spontaneously, people from the audience unpack some instruments, like a harmonica, and join the band, playing at the spot wherever they just happen to be. And yes, all of the musicians know each other and I am sure that they have extensively played together before.

And they involve the crowd. This set-up furthermore makes you feel to be a part of the music/performance. You do not simply watch/listen, but you are in the middle of it (as the musicians might be scattered around the tiny place).

The music was good. VERY good indeed. This not only goes to the rock solid interpretation skills of the bands of evergreen blues tunes (on Wednesday, I believe always the same guys are playing), but - oddly enough - to the perfect technical sound quality (I've seen super-professional venues where tehy entirely fucked up the sound set-up, just remember Ladytron in the Gasometer).

Whilst they do have a menu, they are often out of stock of certain platters (or nearly all of them). So I would not call the Louisiana Blues Pub a restaurant (like the previous tag suggested). It does not read "Pub" for nothing. And, most certainly, this place is what it says it is: A real Blues Pub that might have been teleported directly from Louisiana to Vienna.
