Mahal Palace Reviews (5)
I know it just as a delivery service, can't say anything about the interieur.
But as regards the food, it's really good and comes in huge portions (we ate 2 days from it). As Mike said, it's really well packed, no sticky fingers when you open it. Delivery takes roughly 40-50 minutes.
The prices are average (in the evening) and quite cheap for lunch - maybe picking something up when you go for a picknick to the campus?
Just a word of warning regarding their website: at the moment it seems that it is trojan-infected, so if you want to have a look at their choice, rather go to willessen.at or netkellner.at than to their own homepage.
as stated many times before indian isn't my favourite kind of cuisine (unless friends cook it for me) and usually leaves me with a food hangover the next day.
mahal is one of the places i like, though. their curries are fresh, mild (not a plus in everybody's book, i know) and they seem to use high quality ingredients.
their delivery service is top, i have never seen such good packaging. recommended.
I've got a new favorite Indian restaurant in Wien!
Everything was fresh, hot and delicious and extremely well-packed when I order for delivery. I can recommend the Chana Masala highly and their Sabzi Samosas were awe-some when dipped in the Mango Chutney.
Also, their delivery service is excellent, fast and pleasant. The driver actually had change and didn't spill the food all over the bag.
