cute restaurant with small store in a nice back alley downtown.
all food offered is healthy, macrobiotic and vegan. the lunch special consists of soup and a plate full of grains, veggies and salad and is definitely filling and affordable, to boot. guests of the restaurant gather around one big table and I would advice to show up early, because lunch sells out soon.
the clientele is a nice mix of hippies, posh first district ladies and traveling vegans.
desserts are great, snacks like nori rolls and seitan filled pastries are available.
a hidden gem!
