Ristorante Francesco Grinzing Reviews (4)
I was there on friday and I was a little disappointed.
True, the personall is very friendly which in this part of Vienna is not the most common thing.
True, the garden looks very nice and I'm sure in summer this is a very nice place to be.
and true, the tiramiso was very good ( and HUGE ).
But: the pizzas are good but far inferior to the ones at "Il Mare", the food took quite a while to be served and our non-smoking area was next to a table which was packed with smokers.
I will come back in summer to test the garden, but until then it's "only" a four.
Lovely Italian restaurant in the nice 19th district of Vienna.
Friendly waiters and very good food: I can recommend the cannelloni with spinach and goat cheese (vegitarian).
With warm weather, you can sit outside in the gardun under the chestnut trees. Brought a lovely collection of chestnuts back home. But: bring a hat if you sit in the garden in autumn :)
Bella italia on the outskirts of Vienna.
Very good food, very nice garden (in the summer time) and the best pizzas and tiramisu-variations in town.
