Restaurant Salzamt Reviews (2)
Salzamt is located on the very pleasant Ruprechtsplatz in the shadow of the Ruprechtskirche and a stone's throw away from Schwedenplatz and the Wienkanal.
This is a very fine 1010 establishment with prices that reflect both the casual elegance of the interior and its regular clientele. Sadly they no longer open for lunch, only from 5PM to 2AM, with the kitchen closing at midnight.
The food largely reflects the season with staples such as Tafelspitz and Wienerschnitzel being some of the best in the city. Friendly staff, if very relaxed about everything.
