The lunch specials are only available on the weekdays, but we decided to go in, enticed by the very colorful menu and wonderful photographs, enhanced by the very vivid green and orange interior. (If any space oozed vegetarian, this was it.) It was Saturday lunchtime, and good thing we had reservations; 10 minutes or so after we entered, people kept piling in, and for a reason...everything on the menu was mouth-watering, but we both finally decided on some interesting cheesy spinach and mushroom "crepes," which looked more like calzones. You could spend a whole day here, with a hot chocolate in the morning, a tostada and some spring rolls for lunch, and something else from their delightful menu later in the evening. They also have a take-away bar, if you're not in the mood to stay, or rather, you can't. Little did I know that Lefties is actually a Zara stock store--"leftover" fashions at much, MUCH reduced prices. Again, with these kinds of places, the options are hit and miss, but that didn't stop the mostly female clientele from clamoring over select items.
