This is a Miami classic! Not only is the Italian food fairly authentic (for better or worse) this was THE childhood hangout of Tupalo's Mike!

Gotta love that.

By far the best place to get new york style thin crust pizza in Miami! Right across the street from the UM baseball field, and close to the Shops of Sunset. Down to earth, sporty atmosphere where you can watch them make your pizza, spins an all!

This is real cuban food that makes popular cuban fare like La Carretta seem totally Hollywood. The place is a little dingy looking but their pollo a la plancha w/ fries will rock your world without burning a hole in your pocket. They also have great breakfast specials.
Enriqueta's is open for breakfast and lunch only.

Sweat Records - (4/5)

Located inside Churchill's Hideaway, there is no record store more convenient than Sweat Records. It may feel a little strange to walk through the empty bar's few straglers before making your way to the almost secretive, compact space packed full of new and used vinyl, cd's, books, DVD's and zines, but this is truly what Underground feels like. Great diverse selection, fair prices, interesting used stuff. Since Y&T's demise in the mid-90's, there was no place to go and this spot surely fits the void.
