Weltcafé

I wanted to like this place for their large breakfast menu (including what they call Sudanese, Indonesian and Nepalese breakfast), but I found the staff unhelpful and the food mediocre. And do they really eat Obstpalatschinken for breakfast in Indonesia? o_O

das weltcafe ist eines der wenigen lokale mit ausschließlich bio und fair-trade-produkten. es ist chillig eingerichtet und auch das personal sehr nett. es eignet sich ideal zum "ökologisch und sozial wertvollen" rumhängen an samstag- und sonntag-nachmittagen. leider ist es aufgrund akuter überfüllung oft schwer einen platz zu bekommen. die kleinen snacks sind ebenso zu empfehlen wie auch der kaffee, der eine eigens fürs weltcafé zusammegestellte mischung ist!

hoher ethnologiestudentInnenfaktor, nachmittags immer ueberfuellt, das personal zeichnet sich auch nicht gerade durch besondere sympathie aus, aber es ist dennoch einer der okayeren orte in uninaehe. und es gibt zotter-trinkschokolade!

Lauschiges Plätzchen, meistens sehr gut besucht.

On of the very few places in Vienna, where you can order a Guaranito, a Guarana-based Coke-tastealike that IMHO beats the original. In the evening the Music is a bit too loud for a Cafe, more like a bar.
