It was a searing August, many moons ago. I was cranky from the heat, and weary of all the ham that would always find its way into my meals. A chance left turn onto a side street led me to dinner to this restaurant, whose welcome was more memorable than its menu, although I did have a delicious gazpacho-like soup, ON THE HOUSE. I went twice during that week-long stay in the capital, but I think another visit will soon be in order to see whether or not they're still as accommodating, and if they've become more gastronomically inspired.
