Westlicht

das westlicht ist eine sehr nette galerie in der westbahnstraße, wo es neben aktuellen foto-ausstellungen auch sehr viele kameras aus der foto-history zu sehen gibt. eine kleine angeschlossene bar lädt zum kaffee, bier oder sonstige getränken ein. auf jeden fall zu empfehlen ist die jährlich im september stattfindende "world press photo"-ausstellung.

westlicht is one of the nicest galleries in vienna, I'd say. it's the place to see photography exhibitions. I have never been disappointed after my visits. things are nicely presented and always interesting. I especially recommend the "world press award"-exhibitions that are set there once a year.

there's a leica-shop too and little cafè inside. people are very nice! it's just a very cute place. the location is pretty cool too.
