A passionate bicyclists myself and somewhat knowledgeable when it comes to fixing my beloved vintage road bike, finding a good bike store is crucial. The Coop is right across from my home, so an obvious choice, but boy! do i dread going in there each time. I am not criticizing what they have to offer, it's actually quite decent, but the staff really is not very helpful and has the most annoying attitude. I was almost denied to buy a part (!) as the man behind the counter did not agree with me that this would fix the problem I had described to him. Just for the record: I was right and it DID fix the problem. The question is: what's wrong with being friendly and helpful rather than assumptious and arrogant? Resume: Think "High Fidelity" for bicycles.
