Strange and hidden in a alley. But they have great sound and the Club is separated into different small rooms. So you can either chill or rock or drink or chat.

My favorite home away from home. The odd thing about the Gönner is that there seems to be no discernible pattern as to when the place is almost empty and when it's bursting (hence only four out of five).
For the most part though, the Gönner is a great place with a great crowd and frequent DJ treats (FM4's Milieu Kess on Sundays would be my recommendation).
Non-residents will also find that its somewhat hidden backyard location will impress their co-travellers (go there early and have a backup plan!)

nice place to drink a beer or two, quite similar to other places like transporterbar, futuregarden...good vibes and some stuff to look at

update: seit anfang august im neuen gewand....naja, stimmt so auch nicht. es wurde einfach nur ausgemalt und die elektronik repariert, couches neu gemacht, solche sachen. es hat immer noch den gleichen charme, und i still love it. neu ist auch das jever pils dort, echt feinomat, herb und mal was anderes.

Ich find zwar schon dass hier recht viel Bobo abhaengt, aber ich bin ja nur neidig.

An- und Absaufen geht hier herrlich, vor allem zur moll-lastigen Musikuntermalung. Hat was, auch wenn die Klosprueche noch nicht gereift sind.

ja, das gönner ist nach nur einem besuch gleich zu einem meiner lieblingsspots geworden, sodass ich gleich eine woche später nochmal hingegangen bin.

mir gefällt vor allem der gute mix an leuten; es ist nicht aufdringlich superhip und bobo, ein bisserl abgefuckt isses auch - all dies nämlich in maßen. dj-angebot ist auch ziemlich top.

bedienung ist auch nett, was ja leider keine selbstverständlichkeit ist.

dieses lokal befindet sich zwar im herzen von wien, ist aber trotzdem ziemlich abgeschieden gelegen und gibt einem das coole gefuehl, auf einer geheimen expedition durch wiens hinterhoefe unterwegs zu sein.
das goenner hat eine angenehme groesse, bietet platz fuer djs und kunst. schade, dass es so verraucht und heiss ist. aber wie arnie schon sagte: i'll be back!
