The place rocks!

Amazing place with a supersmall dancefloor (like 1 squaremeter), but big fun!

ich war bis jetzt nur eiiinmal im jenseits (an einem samstag). das muss sich schleunigst ändern. highdi schreibt von jazz? das stell ich mir echt chic vor. muss hin!

das Jenseits ist auch eines meiner lieblingsnachtlokalen. bin meinstens dienstags dort, weil da mein lieblings-dj Philipp Moosbrugger - "Zuckerbrot & Peitsche" (Jazz), auflegt. ich tanze dann meist, bis das licht wieder angeht. :)
das bier ist zwar etwas teuer, aber die atmosphäre und die leute sind an diesem tag sehr nett. war auch schon samstags dort, aber da ist es mir einfach zu voll. die musik ist zwar an diesem tag auch toll: DJ: Le Fantomas, Schlager für Fortgeschrittene, aber eben bekommt man samstags eher platzangst...

usually crowded as hell but ok to hang out drunk at, if you don't mind the a bit too high prices (for that sort of location that is).

also: amtliches aufrisslokal für 20 und 30somethings

Interessante Location (ehemals ein Animierlokal) mit viel Plüsch, Elvis an der Wand und Schlagern aus dem Lautsprecher. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.

I've been at the "Jenseits" a couple of times because some friends dragged me there. It is nice, it is somewhat original but definitely not outstanding. Furthermore, it is a bit pricey (a small beer is EUR 3,60 as far as I recall).

And yes, they have a very small - on Saturday and Friday nights always crowded - dancefloor. Last three times I went there, they played "Schlager" (Thats like Country-Music to you Yankee-Doodles).

Go there once and you have completed this "been there, done that" task.

Inhale the cigar smoke and touch the fabric wallpaper while you think of the things that went on in this former lady-of-the-night pick-up palace. There's a little dancefloor, but sometimes the DJ plays bad 90s British indie music. Expect it to be crowded on Friday and Saturday nights, or even not to be able to enter sometimes, but this can vary.
They have peach juice. Mmmmmmmmmmm.

Also: a former brothel. Fun but slightly pricey.

eines meiner absoluten lieblings(nacht)lokale in wien. das ehemalige puff war zwar schonmal "cooler", was aber positiv gemeint ist, da mittlerweile die szene woanders verweilt und wieder ein wenig platz für die wahren helden ist. tipp: als erster kommen und als letzter gehen.

for sure, quentin tarantino was here... if not, elvis is still hanging around in this lovely "tanzcafe". if you just have one night in vienna, you have to die here.
