das lux war doch mal ein sehr nettes lokal mit gutem konzept und ansprechender küche.
davon konnte ich bei meinem letzten besuch nichts mehr bemerken.
liebloses essen, total überforderter kellner und auch optisch nicht das gelbe vom ei. (fragwürdiges farbkonzept und peinliche bilder an der wand)

A couple trips here have proved to provide a diverse experience. The first time, I was floored by the fresh preparations and unique take on Austo-centric grub. The second trip, I ate horrible overcooked pork on a bed of what tasted like canned red peppers. I'll try it again, though, because good food is hard to find in Vienna and the first trip was a winner.

Service was okay the first time if a bit grumpy. Second trip there, the lady was super nice and efficient, but she was the ONLY server working the entire outside area and was totally overwhelmed. This being Vienna, nobody running the restaurant thought it was a good idea to get another server out there to help out.

I had a very good sunday-morning brunch today. The selection was nice, even though the goods were poorly lit, contrary to the restaurant's name.

Overly self-righteous bourgeois guys at the bar slightly dampened the mood with their comments about my outfit (cargo pants are not potatoe bags!), and the waiters seemed a bit too much at ease with themselves, but overall the atmosphere was very friendly.

Next time I'll wear some pants & polo shirt.
