Amoeba isn't considered the best record store in the country (planet?) for nothing. Built inside of an old bowling alley, Amoeba SF is a vinyl lovers dream, stocking the hottest collection of punk, indie and hardcore vinyl in one giant room about about explode with independent music.
Also featuring a large DVD and book selection, Amoeba is the king, queen and court of independent record stores in the US and should be the first stop on any touring band or music lovers itinerary when in San Fran.
