Pizzeria-Restaurant Loch Ness
Zentagasse 2
1050 Vienna
+43 1 5440612
The only Egyptian-owned pizzeria named after a Scottish lake monster has recently changed both ownership and name. The Loch Ness is now called the "Sun City" and serves both Pizza and Curry. The curries are OK (though they don't sell many so most of them are reheated out of the fridge) but the Egyptian pizza was definitely better than the Indian variation. The beer has also changed to some off-brand Slovak pish, served at room temperature.
Despite the changes, the pizzeria formerly known as the Loch Ness is still frequented by the tradition-bound members of the Vienna Pipes and Drums, a group of unmusical alcoholics so desperate to associate themselves with anything even vaguely Scottish that they have been coming here every week for almost a decade to complain about the food.
