simply the best schnitzel in town. but (like the gulaschmuseum) not that nice appliance.

being vegetarian, this place doesn't offer much - it actually only has one thing you can eat, which is the "vogerlsalat mit kartoffelsalat".

i haven't eaten a better salad *evar*.

so in the summer days, when i was really hungry, i used to first go to zanoni-zanoni to get some icecream, and then head over to figlmueller (just 20 meters away) to eat the vogerlsalat mit kartoffelsalat. don't ask why it always was this order, and not icecream as dessert - i guess i like the salad better than the icecream.

another important note for vegetarians: there is a soup mentioned in the menu, something like "kartoffelsuppe", which has ham in it - don't order it ;)

Figlmüller is known for their Schnitzel. They are huge, thin, and very tasty. If you want to overeat on meat, this is the place to be. Just remember, it is not good for you, don't do it too often :)
There are two Figlmüller's in Vienna, and in this one, I had to watch one of the waiters making a few snide and racist comments about "what he is seeing on the streets these days" to some guests. It made me feel a bit less cozy and the schnitzel became less tasty.
