The menu changes on a regular basis but whatever they have to offer is always more than delicious. Very small, very cosy, very private.
Their current menu can be viewed on their homepage (as well as their simulations) and it is either possible to order a single dish or the whole goodness. A non-vegetarian version is always offered.
Since they have a butcher in their team the sausages are handmade, fresh and made with as much love as a butcher can offer.
And to top it all - they're very kids- and family-friendly.
The Drahtwarenhandlung is a private shared office upstairs, and a small restaurant downstairs. Open only on Friday and Saturday nights from 6-2, they serve a different, creative four-course menu (with vegetarian choices as well) each week.
When I was there, every course involved apricots in some way, but it's not always that gimmicky. Check their website for the current menu -- but beware that they close during the summer.
The food was pretty good, and the variety, creativity and atmosphere make this a winner -- I'll certainly come again.
Etwas improvisiertes Ambiente, aber ausgesprochen sympathische Betreiber. Das Essen wird jedenfalls mit sehr viel Liebe bereitet, auch wenn es noch am Feintuning der Konsistenzen fehlt.
