They make the meanest empanandas and delicious chilean food with homemade cilantro salsa.
Its a bare-bones kinda place in Kensington Market run by a lovely mother and daughter team from Chile. Only seats about 12, but there’s a
patio in the summer time.
Serves beer and wine also.

Get ready for serious French food..this place tucked into Kensington market is not cheap, but it’s worth it. The atmosphere is cozy and kitsch, but this place is not about style - its pure food substance. (A nice change in Toronto) You can order ostrich, venison, bison and even le cheval. Oui c’est vraie. They mix a brilliant beer, half oatmeal stout and half Morte Subite - they call it blackforest and it’s divine.

San - can you please bring back the ginger ice cream with the sponge toffee shards in it...you had these perfect little touches when you first opened and then let some of them go...
Please dont ever stop serving the pinenuts in those little apres diner plum shot.

The best coffee I have found in Toronto. A cozy, mellow place with free wireless. The friendly owner will make you a flat white (Aus), a cortado (barcelona), an Africano (Victoria) or anything your caffeine heart desires.
